Team Canada Loses to High School Hockey Team

team canada hockeyAfter an embarrassing loss against the USA, Canada's olympic men's hockey team played a practice match against a local Vancouver high school team, and lost to them too, with a final score of 3-1. "We dominated the match just like we did against the US, but those high schoolers have a mean power play and we just didn't step up. I guess we have some work to do", explained a Team Canada player who spoke with us on condition of anonymity. The high school match was arranged at the last minute to provide a much need confidence booster for Team Canada, but the plan obviously backfired, leaving players and millions of Canadian hockey fans scratching their heads. Now word yet on whether a practice game against a local little league team is planned. Stay tuned.

McDonalds Announces Double McTwist 1260 Hotdog

mcdonaldsMcDonalds today announced the latest item on their menu, the Double McTwist 1260. Named after star snowboarder Shaun White's signature move, the Double McTwist 1260 is basically a hot dog version of the double bacon cheeseburger. Two hotdog wieners are twisted together, each doing a 1260 degree turn. Look for the new McDonalds Double McTwist 1260 nationwide starting Friday Feb 19th. Mmmmm mmmm good.

Tiger WoodsShortly after the fake alleged statement was 'leaked' as reported by TMZ.com, we have received a copy of the real Tiger Woods Alleged Statement, that he intends to give tomorrow. Apart from the obvious and expected apologies and regrets, the real shocker is that Tiger has decided to extend his hiatus from Golf to pursue a professional career in baseball. The world's number golfer gives the following reasons in his statement: "It just makes good sense. Swinging a baseball bat is a lot like swing a golf club, so I think it will be an easy transition. Besides, I wear baseball caps all the time, and I think I am pretty good at that."
